Hi! I'm Biba one of the new placement students at the Birkbeck CBCD. I'm currently studying for my Psychology BSc and I've become particularly interested in neurodevelopment during my time at the BabyLab and ToddlerLab. I'm curious about how early life experiences shape our behaviour and way of thinking, and by how we can use neuroimaging to show how babies respond to specific stimuli. I love working with children and I'm really looking forward to joining the SENSE study and understanding more about premature development!

In my spare time, I love cooking and baking, doing any dance class available near me and lotssss of shopping! Look forward to meeting you and your little ones!

Hi! My name is Leonore and I am currently doing my placement year of my Psychology BSc at the Birkbeck Babylab and Toddlerlab. I love studying baby and child development, understanding how our early years shape our brain and behaviour is truly fascinating. Working as a research assistant has given me the opportunity to put theory into practice and observe in real time how to conduct psychological research. I'm really looking forward to helping out in the SENSE study and understanding more about how young brains react to touch. 

In my free time I love to cook and bake with some nice music in the background, read a book while drinking an (always) iced vanilla latte, or take a dance or fencing class. We can't wait to welcome you and your little one to the lab for some fun sessions!
